Everything below was designed and made by Honeycomb, for clients from Paris to San Francisco. Every piece can be reproduced, recoloured or redesigned to your brief. Minimums are modest, sampling is fast, and every piece is finished by hand.
Inspirations from nature
Our 2012 brochure organised the range around four things found in nature: a peacock, a full moon, a snowflake and freshly hewn wood. The words below are our own, from that brochure.
The peacock
Waves of green and ripples of sheer peacock blue, poured into a six-foot length of gleaming, glistening silk. A crumpled, tie-dyed shawl with its own inimitable style: a burst of colour on a sun-swept morning.

The full moon
Bandhani in sheer black, dappled with stars of white: a whole sheet of stars plucked, polished and pinned to a warm night. Hand-knotted several hundred times, in pure silk.

The snowflake
Angelic works of art, falling softly. White-on-white hand appliqué, as individual as a fingerprint or a snowflake, dexterously put together and finely sewn by our artisans.

Freshly hewn wood
Block-printed quilts, hand-quilted by traditional village women artisans, wrapping you in an affectionate embrace despite the howling winds outside. Layers of elegantly patterned cotton sandwiching cotton batting, all hand-stitched in the classiest manner possible.
Cotton and silk quilts in natural and other dyes. Single, queen and king.
How ordering works
Send us a reference, a sketch or a sentence. We reply with ideas and a sampling plan within two working days. Samples are made in the workshop in two to four weeks, then production follows in the quantities a considered brand actually needs. We handle quality control, packing and shipment from Ahmedabad.
